The ‘second sermon’ by Black Sherif wasn’t just popular online, it also received a series of local media airplay and was adjudged as the most rated song of the year 2021 by fans, music pundits.
2. Kidi – Touch it
The most popular song off Kidi’s ‘Golden boy album’, Touch it was a digital trend. Released some six months ago, the song took off slowly and has powerfully become a fireball; thanks to the video-sharing app TikTok.
The ‘Touch it’ by Kidi has accumulated over 65 million streams across digital platforms with great reviews from fans and followers within a short period. The ladies are loving the afro-dancehall vibe!… Yeah, Gyal dem sugar.
3. Kuami Eugene – Dollar on you
We didn’t come here to play! After releasing hits like ‘Amen’, and featuring on Okyeame Kwame’s ‘Yeeko’, Kwame Yogot’s ‘Biibi Besi’, which are also two of the most popular songs of the year, Kuami added another monster hit to his discography.
The ‘Dollar on You’ has earned over 43million streams on streaming platforms and has enjoyed great media airplay and received celebrity endorsement.
4. S3fa – Echoke ft. Mr Drew
Born Sefadzi Abena Amesu, Musically known as S3fa has finally found glory in her hustle in the music game after releasing Echoke. The song has catapulted the black avenue music’s signee to an appreciative pedestal earning her full recognition.

5. Fameye – Praise
Mr Peter blessed us with this great inspirational tune a few months ago and has since been the talk of the town. ‘Praise’ is a great highlife tune, well-written and well-composed.
The song was released 6months ago and has enjoyed excellent reviews from fans and music critiques. It has gained over 23 million streams across digital streaming stores and has added a facelift to the brand ‘Fameye’.

6. Wendy Shay – Heat
The queen of Shaygang takes criticisms almost every year and turns them into art. ‘Heat’ is a controversial banger released in late September and has generated an array of mixed reactions from fans due to the content of the song.
It’s being played on most media channels and being streamed across all the music digital stores rounding in over 11million.
7. AK Songstress – Jonathan
Born Akosua Kwakye, better known as AK songstress has made a statement with her smash tune ‘Jonathan’. The song which was released barely 3months ago has caught up with fans and it’s greatly gaining overwhelming reviews.
It keeps getting the attention it deserves and enjoying massive media airplay. The streaming numbers on the digital platforms keep appreciating inching to over 6million.
